Before to start let's understand the adoption curve stage.

Sunrise: It's a stage where the industry starts growing with new products and technology. This is the time when customers are ready to pay a high premium for the product. In this stage, the industry attracts the investor.

Maturity: This is the stage where competition is high in the industry and everybody is trying to sell the same products.

Sunset: This is the stage when companies need to change the product &          technology. The industry will consolidate, margins will fall.

E-Vehicle is today is the huge sunrise industry. The Govt of India has taken the initiative to change the complete auto sector. 

4 wheeler may see some problems but 2 wheeler and 3 wheeler are shifting faster. Tax on electrical vehicles and car charging systems reduced to 5%.

Benefits of electrical vehicles:

1. Govt's dependence on oil will reduce & save about USD 330 Billion.
2. Cost of travel and repairing cost will come down as gas refilling, oil change, 
    oil refilling is not required.
3. Low maintenance, no wear out.
4. The main benefits is no emission and no pollution.
5. No need to go for a petrol pump, as batteries can be charged at home also.
6. Safety: May fire 1 out of 12 crore vehicles compare to 1 out to 2 crore vehicle     of diesel and petrol vehicles.
7. Cost of running per KM will come down(as per assumption it will be around            0.80 P per KM).

As per ET report, the moving parts of E- Vehicles will down to 200 as compared to 2000 in a petrol car. This is the reason why we are saying fully adopted E- Vehicles will kill most of the auto component companies.

Govt's vision:
To make all two & three wheeler to electrical vehicles by 2025 and 2023 respectively.

Nitin Gadkari: The only electrical vehicles that will run on Indian roads by 2030. I will make India a movement towards electrical vehicles. If you don't come without you, if you do not listen I will drag you, bulldoze you.

Niti Ayog is saying all new upcoming high rise bldg, Malls, Commercial offices, Hospital and Residential will have electric vehicle charging systems. The top 10 most polluted cities need to sell a minimum of 10-20% electrical vehicles as a Target.
